Heritage Book
Silver Cross wanted a high quality guide to help sell their top of the range prams in Harrods and China. Built to order and often retailing at over £1500, these hand-finished prams are some of the best in the world. So we created an A3, casebound heritage book that reflected the attention to detail that went into them.
To show the authentic dedication to craft behind their classic Balmoral and Kensington prams, we commissioned Matthew Seed to take natural, unstaged shots of their Yorkshire workshop and close-ups of tools that have been handed down from pram maker to pram maker for decades. We foil blocked ‘History in the Making’ on six alternative covers, making clever use of the bilingual text. The finished designs were printed on high quality stock and bound by artisan local bookbinders Spink & Thackray.
