No Smoking Day is one of the UK’s biggest annual health awareness events. Hundreds of thousands of people get involved every year and the British Heart Foundation gets behind it by highlighting the many sources of help and advice available.
We worked with Grey Advertising in London to develop a V for victory concept across posters, leaflets, a campaign handbook and promotional kits packed with all sorts of items. Built around a bold visual, the campaign also gave a nod to military posters by using an underlined letter ‘V’ and simple, direct orders telling people what to do next. We also extended the subtle military references to medals, which were used to recognise the achievements of outstanding organisers.
