Learning Time with Shaun & Timmy

A large part of The British Council’s international education work is promoting the teaching of English to people of all ages. In partnership with Aardman animation, the British Council had created a holistic programme called ‘Learning Time with Shaun & Timmy’. It was designed to bring English language education to primary aged children in a fun and engaging way. 

We were commissioned to create two short animation pieces, which could work with existing film footage of the programme in action. Together they needed to explain the nuts and bolts of the classes to parents of potential students. Taking their cues from episodes of Timmy Time, the animations were bright and informative, getting key information across quickly, while remaining fun and child-friendly.
