The DBA promotes good design to the business community. To celebrate their 25th anniversary they asked us to create a special anniversary marque and a moving image piece that could be used at their anniversary party event.
Taking our inspiration from bar charts, we built a 25th anniversary marque around a number 25. This visually captured the idea of ‘effectiveness’ which is at the centre of the DBA’s ethos. Our anniversary film focused on party poppers filmed on a high frame rate camera, showing the unseen details you can only see in slow motion. This reflected the way the DBA gives businesses invaluable, behind the scenes insights into successful design. Illustrated by Chris Grey.
