About the UK

The British Council promotes cultural learning and education in over 100 countries. ‘About the UK’ is a tool they use all over the world to educate people about the basic aspects of the UK including its government, culture and education. The materials they were using were built in PowerPoint. They were hard to navigate, weren’t very user friendly and were starting to look dated. They also had enormous file sizes, making them difficult to share. We were briefed to give them a complete overhaul. 

We recommended an interactive PDF that functioned much like a small website. It had a drop-down contents menu, interactive charts and page links, all of which helped users navigate the document in a more approachable way. Bold graphic charts and vibrant cultural imagery helped modernise the look of the resource and transformed it into an engaging and usable learning tool.
